Spanish Citizenship. 

As every year the Instituto Cervantes has published a new manual to prepare for the CCSE exam, which is required for applications for Spanish nationality by residence, among other procedures.

This new manual has new questions that were not included in the 2022 CCSE manual. This new content will appear already in all CCSE tests already arranged throughout the next year 2023.

The manual contains:
- Task 1: Government, legislation and citizen participation.
- Task 2: Fundamental rights and duties
- Task 3: Territorial organization of Spain. Physical and political geography
- Task 4: Culture and History of Spain
- Task 5: Spanish Society
- Annex. Solutions to the CCSE 2022 questions

Since October 2015, it is necessary to pass the CCSE exam (on sociocultural knowledge) and a DELE exam (for those who do not have Spanish as their mother tongue).
- Both exams are tests to be developed and carried out by the Instituto Cervantes.
- Regarding the CCSE exam, there are exams every month, except in the months of August and December, and you can find centers distributed all over Spain.
